Speaking of New Year's, it's New Year's dishes♪
I thought I had a vague understanding of the significance of osechi ryori, but I thought I'd definitely remember it, so I looked it up d(´ω`*)

"Kazunoko" Because there are many eggs, we wish descendants prosperity.

"Black soybean" means to work diligently and live diligently (healthily). Black also has the meaning of amulet.

"Red and white kamaboko" The shape resembles the sunrise. Red means talisman and white means purity.

"Kurikinton" Kanji character "Kurikindan" wishes for good luck with money from the letters and colors.

“Datemaki” It has a shape similar to a scroll, meaning that learning will be accomplished.

"Sea bream" This is famous!!

"Shrimp" A wish to live long enough to bend the waist. The red color of shrimp also has the meaning of amulet.

"Buri" Pray for birth and put it in.

"Satoimo" A wish to be blessed with children by attaching a lot of sweet potatoes.

"Lotus root" means that there is a hole in it so that you can see ahead.

"Kouwai" Kuwai is the first to sprout, so it is used as a lucky charm.

"Konbu-maki" is a pun on "Yorokobu".

"Red and white Namasu" A lucky charm that wishes for peace with a combination of red and white.

I especially like red and white trout+.(*'`*)゚+
Until now, there were many things I ate without knowing the meaning, but I want to understand the meaning of next year's New Year dishes and enjoy them even more♪
